I find 3 freq.for OC:162.400,162.450 and 162.550 (034029).Which is the BEST for Toms River NJ?

looks like Howell is the closest, but its at 300w ... Hardyston is further but not that far, and its at 1000w ... i dunno who is going to have more info for toms river, I guess just listen and see

Ocean County NOAA Frequencies
The best one to use for the ocean monmouth area is 162.450. This transmitter is in Howell Township, Monmouth County. It is located at the Southard Fire House, on Rt. 9 north near Locust Rd. The other transmitters you are receiving are located nearly 45 miles away or better.
This transmitter provides excellent coverage for the greater Monmouth Ocean County area. Hope this helps. By the way as I type this(1648hrs 6-4-08) there is an active tornado watch in effect for the area.
