I live in Delaware County, PA and Ocean County uses many of the same T-band frequencies as Delco. I've been able to pick up Ocean County's trunk system on multiple occassions during ducting events and most recently, was able to trunk track the system. During any of these ducting events, has interference from Delco caused any serious problems with Ocean County's system? I have no knowledge of Delco having serious interference problems from Ocean County due to the fact that the system here is conventional with PL tones. Also as far as I know no TV station interference here in Delco.

I know Ocean County applied for several frequencies in the Channel 15 range a while back to add to the Lakewood and Toms River sites to help with the interference. Is this one of the possible fixes for the problems with the system?

WHAT A BUNCH OF IDJITS! Do they think that by extending frequencies down into channel 15 will solve anything? It doesn't take a genius to figure out no matter where they go in the shared T Band they'll get interference from a powerful TV transmitter SOMEWHERE, the East Coast is littered with them and we're famous for our coastal ducting so who do they think they're kidding? When your puny 90W challenges MEGAWATTS it's like standing on the railroad track and sticking your tongue out at the train... like who do you think will win? This has been a problem ever since the band was allocated by the FCC and Ocean County is but one of many NY/NJ area agencies experiencing the very same interference... like what WERE they thinking? While the FCC does not assign PS frequencies within a TV market area where these transmitters are located somebody forgot about tropo interference from other area markets, particularly Boston, Washington and Philadelphia so now what? Yup, it's the time of the season and "they're baaAAAaaack."

To sfd901, here's the Ocean County section from the database here.
Ocean County, New Jersey (NJ) Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference
For the municipalities that dispatch their own services, the frequencies are listed. For the ones who have any or all of those services dispatched by county, you'll see that notation under the municipality name.

To elias, with regards to Berkeley Haz Mat, I had a senior moment there. It IS Tac 3 for them. And, with regards to Lacey Tech. Rescue Team, that was listed on an old list I have called "Ocean County Law Enforcement Dispatch Summary". I got it off of the web a number of years ago but it's no longer there. I have no idea if the team still exists or if it did at one time and has since been disbanded. It was listed there, however.
