Okay I have it up and running great for Ocean County thanks to the band plan you provided.
Glad to hear that.
I'be been looking into band blans and frequency tables for other sites but they are usually for scanners, not unitrunker.
That's correct, generally speaking the band plans were included for Type II systems for the benefit of scanner users, however the information also applies to Unitrunker.
I'm trying to understand the band plan tab, just plugging in the info from RR, from what I understand Base=Base frequency, Lo=Offset, Where can or how can i calculate "HI"? Step=Step, and I'm unsure what slots is representing.
Slots applies only to P25 Phase II systems.
The value for Hi depends on the frequencies in use for the system/site. It's not one size fits all. Some systems, like Ocean County, are fairly straightforward since they have only one site and all of the frequencies are within the range of a single band plan entry. In that case, the value of 759 can be used, since that is the highest channel # for a Type II VHF/UHF system.
Other systems have multiple sites that may use more than one band plan entry to cover a range of frequencies. In that case, both the Lo and Hi values are unique between band plans.
The bottom line is that there are too many variables to provide a simple answer.
I also just paid for a premium account and I assumed RR would input band plans under 812mhz.
Unitrunker will download the band plan for the site if it's available for the system. I don't know why it didn't work for you, however it was clear that someone that system's band plan got changed to the 800 MHz standard plan for you. No matter, it's fixed now.
