In the wee hours of October 14 during the Wild Rains, I heard on this frequency, evacuation procedures being carried on. This is the freq: 472.4625 with DCS: 172. The crews ID'd the 'central' station as Ocean Township. I haven't seen this freq listed anywhere. Does anyone have any information about this and also their Channel 2 freq? I have the published freqs entered, just in case, but I haven't heard anything on them.
The police were evacuating seniors from a center that was experiencing heavy flooding early this morning. They were using school buses to move these people and also wheelchair equipped vehicles as they were needed. Did anyone else hear this? I reside in Jackson Township and have my scanners on 24/7, receiving a 2-, 3-bar signal w/a hand-held radio, indoor top-of-set antenna, very clearly.
