Oceanside California:Which scanner?

Hello all
Greeting's from Bainbridge island Washington.A family outing to Oceanside California may be in the works and I am trying to decide which scanner to take with me. It look's like from looking at the database here that my best bet would be my Pro96 ..It would be easiest to set up as it is not my primary scanner. HELP!

Use the Pro-96 for the RCS County System (Police is Digital, Fire is Analog)

Use Pro-97 for CHP(TAN1 39.8 Oceanside area) & CDF Fire(Monte Vista ECC 151.19)for umm Brush fire
And you could put the RCS Analog stuff in it too like 'Rancho Fire Dispatch' etc.
plus put in 'Law Air' 'Fire Air' & Mutual aids Talkgroups.

RCS County System: Oceanside PD etc
NorthZone = 800mhz Splinter. --- SouthZone = Normal 800Mhz.

CHP San Diego Orange 39.400 & CHP Oceanside Tan 39.800 Both are on repeaters.
CHP El Cajon can be heard on the RCS System (Northzone & Southzone)

Fire is not analog in Oceanside. It is digital (unfortunately). They are switching to North Com dispatch around Jan 1st, so that may change.
