OCFD no longer using VHF paging

Ocean City Fire/EMS has discontinued using VHF for qc paging. Alerting is exclusively done on the Fire 1 talk group using the same qc tones that were used on VHF.

I was just going to make a thread for this, until I went to do a search, and found this! I just found this out the hard way, while down on vacation for the week! (8/18/23) I luckily have my 436 with me, for the P25 side, but brought along a older analog scanner as well! And was surprised that I didn't hear a peep on the VHF side! A sad sign of the times I guess! I remember them being on VHF for as long as I can remember, being a young kid coming down every summer for a week!
