I was trying to find out what OCNJ FD & BP plan on doing with their radio system. Looked online everywhere...FCC Frequency Database, Misc websites and even the RR Database. I know PD is on Atlantic County's Provoice System and can't be listened to on a scanner. I wasn't sure if FD was going to follow them and piggy back I guess you could say or replace/update the current VHF system. In my opinion, I think they should replace/upgrade the current system and still be on VHF. I enjoy hearing them when I go in vacation. If anyone has more info/input on this it is greatly appreciated!!!

They will be narrowbanding and remaining on vhf ... I know this for a fact as i am the tech who will be narrowbanding the bases/repeater ... I seriously doubt they would ever go to the trunked system due to the cost and the age of the system (EDACS is no longer supported and will have to be replaced)...
