Odd residential antenna - 88

The other day on a bike ride I saw an antenna mounted on a house directly next to a standard Dish Network dish. This antenna had a square grid reflector and side by side "8" shaped elements. It was powder-coated black and about the same size as a standard dish antenna. It was pointed the same direction as the dish.

I did a Google Image search with no luck. I was unable to grab a picture as there were too many people around.

I have never seen one of these, anyone have any ideas?

I will try and find it again on tomorrow's ride and compare but I think you nailed it.

I see these quite often now. Much more popular than the log periodic TV antennas that used to be used.
