Would there be any advantage to using both the OEM and the Remtronix 824B connected to a T and then into the scanner? The frequencies scanned will be some air band and 155 and 857 ranges. The antenna will be connected to a Uniden scanner. Systems received will be analog as well as digital P25 Phase 1 and DMR. Since I'm presently limited to indoor antenna, Would they play off each other in a good way or could they block each other and have a negative impact on both of them? I want to make the best choice for all ranges. So together, or separate?
Thanks

It's my experience that your results are going to be unpredictable. You may find in one particular range there's some advantage but you never know if the signal is going to go into the radio or to the other antenna. There is no advantage to doing this but of course you can switch off single antennas.

It's also not practical and invites an accident or damage to your BNC connector on the scanner because of all the hardware. If you use a T connector you would need 2 right angle BNC adapters to keep the antennas vertical. That's one drop away from major damage to your radio with an arrangement that's not going to work well.
