Baltimore City has replaced their EMS supervisor fleet (EMS 3,4,5) with brand new rapid response rigs. They are really nice, Anyone else see any of them?

Probably age, but I'm not sure what contributed in getting these kind of rigs though.

Shouldn't be an issue.. They were driving one of the new 2003\4 Ford Expeditions. Besides, the EMS units have only been in existance for about 1 year...

I've seen some of the cherokees running as EMS units. These are definately better looking, but I wonder how practical they are when it come to navigating narrow city streets.

They must have been in existance longer than one year because 2001 was the last production year for jeep Cherokees.

Actually, the EMS supervisors were using Expeditions. The BC's, FIBm, Sfaety Officers all have Cherokees.....

All of the BCs etc are upgrading to Chevy Blazers. Cherokees have a lousy maintence record. I don't know if the blazers are that much better though.
