I work security near this location and had my scanner on during this incident. I have to say it was quite a confusion going on on Dallas PD channel 4. 460.4250
here is a news article: http://www.star-telegram.com/news/story/199515.html
I do remember at one point hearing that there was a police car that was stolen. I remember an n9 number was issued later. The other interesting thing was that when the officer down call was made that was another comment regarding someone down with a head shot. The Police could not get the ambulance to come fast enough as I would think is normal when a comrade is fallen. The dispatcher had quite the job on her hands as there was alot of officers talking over each other so radio traffic was hard to follow. One could really sense the fear and chaos in the voices of the officers.
I pray that Senior Cpl. Jerry Poston will recover and his family comforted.
