Officer Involved Shooting in Montrose

Montrose PD got a call at about 12:30 am of a man breaking into cars in a trailer park. When the homeowner went to confront the suspect he noticed that he might have a gun. About ten minutes later an officer reported that the suspect was down on the ground with a gunshot.

Police: Man shot after threatening officer

A 19-year-old Montrose man is undergoing treatment for gunshot wounds sustained after he allegedly threatened a Montrose police officer with a gun.

Police are not yet able to release many details, as the investigation has just begun.
