Man shot and killed following carjacking and police chase

(KSL News) What started out as a carjacking this afternoon has ended with a man being shot.
It happened at 1825 W. 3300 S. around 4 p.m. When police responded to the scene, the suspect fled. They gave chase but eventually lost sight of the car.
Police later found the vehicle near 1300 West and 2300 South with three suspects inside.
When they surrounded the car, two suspects obeyed officers commands and exited the vehicle, but one remained inside.
Police then determined that the suspect in the car had a gun. It is unclear, at this point, if the suspect fired at police first, but he was fired on by multiple agencies and died at the scene.
