To make that 'screen capture' use the full 'separate LCD' window, you can use the MonLCDWndX and MonLCDWndY values in the Win500.ini file. The size of the window is 320 x 240. Some media players seem to want the 4:3 aspect ratio (e.g. WMP in my PocketPC, WM5 phone).Stick0413 said:Don,
I am wondering how you set up the video portion of your stream. I haven't figured out how to do that yet.
Edit: Nevermind... Just figured it out... Simple if I looked in the right place on Windows Media Encoder. lol
The "Help" file is on the short list of "to-do" items.don333 said:Just finished downloading the trial version of WIN 500. Is there any "HELP" for this program? I've never used the WIN programs before and it's all quite confusing to me.
Thanks.

Version 1.07 has what I think would be the "important" fields: Priority flag, Atten flag, Lockout flag, Delay flag, and LED Color.kikito said:I maybe missing it but on the TSYS Objects tab, I can't seem to be able to sort by Delay or Light and other assorted fields. I know it might not be of much use to most but sometimes I like to do that as a way to quickly find out if some objects have different or disabled attributes like those. In the Priority field is handy to quickly group all the objects that have priority enabled and clear them all for example.
Anyway, could that be something that can be added Don?
That's great.DonS said:Version 1.07 has what I think would be the "important" fields: Priority flag, Atten flag, Lockout flag, Delay flag, and LED Color.
That works great too, thanks!EDIT: You can already (pre-1.07) do the specific "turn off Priority for everything" operation in the All Objects tab. Select everything, then click on the "Priority" cell for any object that has Priority enabled. It will toggle that cell, then set all other selected objects to the new state. This works for all of the "checkbox" column types.
That's one of the planned "Enhancements to per-object data".rdale said:Is there a way to get a "notes" field for each object?
Found and fixed for 1.08. Until that version is released, the workaround is to delete the TSYS's TGRPs first, then delete the TSYS itself.rdale said:Bug I found a while ago but forgot til it creeped up again :>
Web import a trunked system. Set the initial TG object ID to 2000. Checked the wrong button for the display description, so deleted the TSYS and said "yes" to deleting the objects.
Imported again, Win500 would not let me use 2000 as the starting point because it said already in use. Double checked all object ID's, and nothing > 1500. Imported starting at 3000, went to change to 2000 after everything was set, and still rejected. Saved, shut down Win500, restarted, and was able to renumber to 2000.
tbhausen said:Not sure if this is possible, but I have a suggestion for a way to handle tag editing during import from RR which addresses the fillowing issues:
1. RR "Description" attributes are so lenghty they result in duplicate tags when truncated to 16 characters.
2. RR "Display" attributes are usually so abbreviated (for scanners which can only display 12 or fewer characters) that they're hard to make sense of.
Here's what I'm thinking... Would it be possible to add another option for handling import of tags which does the following:
1. Imports the full RR "Description" attribute to the "Note" field when Notes are implemented as an "Enhancement to Per-Object Data".
2. Sequentially presents as the final step of (or immediately following) the import process the "Display" attribute and a 16-character field in close proximity to one another so we can do our own meaningful abbreviation.
3. Provide a user-customizable "Find and Replace" list to optionally "auto abbreviate" the "Display" attribute as a default, overwriteable starting point (e.g. "Police" to "PD", "County" to "Co", etc.
Hope this makes sense... Thoughts?
