Offutt AFB MilCom Freqs

Looks as if they planes are going to be moved within the next couple of days to Lincoln from Bellevue. http://www.omaha.com/index.php?u_pg=1638&u_sid=2167397

I will be in the Lincoln area for a class and was wondering if anyone in the Bellevue or Lincoln area had any MilCom freqs that are used in the area, or any suggestions as to what they would be using during the move. I know the base uses a UHF trunking system, but I'm wondering what a common would be for the planes.

311.0 and 321.0 are ACC Command post frequencies. Offutt does use them. They may be using these. Each squadron probably has their own frequency on UHF, VHF, and HF.
All I can say is search the Mil air UHF and VHF bands.
Also program the Licoln Airport tower and ground frequencies. Offutt's plane should be using them to talk to the tower.

Yeah I was wondering if they'd talk to the LNK Tower or if they'd have their own little set-up. I just thought they would get impatient with having to wait for the regular commercial and private crafts on the ground or in the air. Wonder if they get some sort of priority level status for take offs and landings or if they just have to wait in line. Thanks for your help Nathan.

they have a new site (uhf) out there to support them but if you are interested in the air stick to 311

and they really dont have to wait in line if you've seen the ramp and its not like lincoln has any real traffic anyways...

by now the people in Lincoln are getting used to the midnight landings cause thats when the airport closes...

They're hauling their UHF RF back to Bellevue from Lincoln? It barely makes it outside Sarpy.

I said new site out there (at klnk) with seperate controler ... how they get it back to offutt I have no idea...
