Offutt ENC traffic

Good afternoon, everyone! I hope that the Holidays have been good to you and yours!

While doing a firmware upgrade on a friend's 396T today, I happened to run across several ENCrypted transmissions on the Offutt Fire and Offutt PD talkgroups on the new Offutt AFB trunking system!

I imagine a lot more of their traffic will be since it'll be easier for them now with the new system. Glad to hear the coverage is better, the old analog system you were lucky to hear it outside Sarpy county at times.

...funny thing is the dang transportation sq guys encrypt all the time...i mean, give me a break...they encrypt more than any of the other guys...seems kind of silly to me...it's all good, though...it's a nice system...wonder if they're going to use any I-calls...haven't seen any since the swap over...
