First of all, Merry Christmas, everybody!

Looking for some help or assistance with Offutt P25.

I program the control channel, on line 4 of the display, I get> 96:----- 72%, in between the 96/36 system and decode rate, no other information on Tower/System number, or BEE Wacn is shown.

I can scan Offutt without the control channel and recieve Offutt without any problems, but when I scan only the control channel, I will see the talkgroups but no voice.

I did program the offset, 406.0000-base, 380-offset and 12.5-spacing, still having trouble.

Anybody got some tips? Or am I missing something??

Offutt does have good range by the way, recieved them clear past Hamburg Ia. last weekend

Greetings and Happy Holidays!

First of all - what kind of scanner are you trying to receive Offutt's P25 system on?

If it's a Uniden BCD396T or 996T, you should be able to program the system as a "Motorola APCO25" system and program only the two Control Channels listed in Radio Reference.

On my 396T, I didn't even enter the custom "band plan" and I was still able to receive the system with no issues.

Yes all frequencies are programmed, I did try programming just the control frequencies, but got same problem. My talkgroup programming bank is set to Motorola not EDACS.
