Anyone happen to catch anything on City-Wide 6 today? Any of you aircraft monitors hear anything in the skys today? Based upon the lack of posts today, I don't think so. I didn't see anything in the press today either...they usually announce when our V.I.P's are here and what their schedule is. Even made a trip to Indiana...wonder if it was a fund raiser?

I monitored bits and pieces of it also. I figured it was just Obama heading back to his south side home but they were talking about all of these other interstates and such, didn't know what was goin on. Probably would of saved a lot of taxpayer money if he would of just flown around in the helicopter lol.

I was listening to the Lake County IN Sheriff's Dept who had traffic control setup. There was not much radio traffic though, just "shut down the streets and motorcade passing the streets". I was wondering who it was and then I saw the paper this morning.

Did you hear WBBM? There have been ads on the stations saying that a home next to Obama's is up for sale. The advertisement stated that to live there, one has to be "cleared" by the Secret Service. I think that's a bunch of hooey because the Government cannot tell someone that they can't live somewhere because they don't "approve" of that person. If this continues unchecked, we need to ask how far they will go before we all have to have "checks" done to live somewhere or to move about freely as we wish, or to............(name the activity.)
