Several of the tech gurus with MESA are running Motorola APX NEXT with full touch screens, full cellular integration etc. One discovered he doesn't like touch screens much as they are not forgiving. If you have big fingers, you know what that means. Also was not happy with how Motorola has sensitivity set to auto bonk as no connection to sites, and wished he could adjust so even the weakest signal got passed. Others disagree and would rather it drop to cellular instead of pass anything garbled. The joys of new technology and old school users. Though he was happy last weekend when he was using that radio in Florida to talk to techs here in Indy. Go figure.
