Does Anyone Know What Frequencies That Are Being Used By The State Police In Ohio County (wheeling Area) And What Type Of System They Are On ? I Am Using A Gre Psr500 Scanner

Most generally State Police uses the County Freqs. Most common State Freqs are 42.100,42.260,and 42.120

The state police in ohio county use the following three channels

#1 42.02 - dispatch
#2 45.34 - mobiles
#3 155.550 sheriff
and very rarely 154.9050

?? 42.02 would be a certain district freq would it not ??

42.100 is primary statewide freq, just seperate pl's for each dispatch area - Ex = Chas, pburg,clarksburg,elkins...ect.

The 45.34 is a new one to me

And in many areas, SP is dispatched on the county sheriff's department dispatch channel.
