Ohio MARCS 27088?

I know this talkgroup is the Ohio DNR. It si always garbled. What is the deal with that talkgroup? Thanks

It's listed in the database - always check that out when you have a talkgroup question...

I'd say that the reason you're hearing it "garbled" is that they are using their encryption. For some reason, DNR thinks that they should run it full time. We hear them that way on our Pro2096 in the office all of the time...

The "E" stands for "encrypted" which means you will never hear clear voice. Before you ask me to "read your message again" please make sure you fully read the database info.

Those ODNR 'CALL **' Talkgroups are encrypted about 85% of the time. What's funny is when an ODNR person calls Columbus on 'Call ** Secure' But, they are in the clear.
