Not yet.

I'd love to listen to the Columbus Simulcast sites and possibly Union County as well.

Well I tell ya'll what. Take up a collection and get me a 96 or a 396t and I will put a live feed on here for everyone lol.
I am just west of the (and I mean just) of the Post 13 Sheriffs office. So signal strenght isnt a problem. Anything that covers I will gladly put up.

Hmm doing the math in my head. (50 members x 10 bucks donation each = new 396t.) hehehe.

Just kidding. But yea I would love ot hear one myself.

The closest is the online feed from WCPO.com for the Hamilton county TRS.

No promises but I'm looking into DIRECWAV for after the first of the year. If I do go with it I'll put MARCS tac talkgroups up. I don't like dispatch channels for OHP too much chatter.

No promises

You won't hear too much on the TAC channels except occasional car to car and plane to car when they are running speed zones.

I have a pro 96 and DSL. What else do I need to put a live feed on?
Point me in the right direction.

Search the forums here if you want to do it on your own, http://firefeeds.net will provide you the software for free and pay you monthly along with many other benefits if you want that route.

mine is http://www.ajpritch.com/scanner.asx It has audio and video. The video uses the ARC396 software's virtual control to show the talkgorup and system it is on. I am using Windows Server 2003 Entrprise and Windows Media Service to stream it. It is about 2-10 seconds behind the real scanner traffic as Windows Media Service buffers it and streams it. Let me know if you have any questions.

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm even though they would pay you I really don't want people to pay to listen to the broadcast. Internet should be free

If you look at the massive number of scanners they host, all in one location, and consider that I can't recall them ever going down in the years I've been a user, I can't imagine the small monthly cost is a barrier. I've never received a "server full" message, and they keep very close tabs on the "feeders" in case something ever does glitch on the sending side. Certainly your choice, I just see more advantages to it than negatives...

Howeevr if you wantto host it yourself you can certianly use shoutcast and winamp. Both free and only take a few minutes to setup.
