OHP arrested some asian guy for impersonating a police officer; Channel six showed a brief clip of his red 1991 model Nissan 300ZX 'Patrol Car' this morning, complete with lights and sirens.... apparently he was caught after he blew past an accident scence running "code"  The really creepy part is he had a police uniform and TPD badge  some people!

I bet there's more to that story. Seems impersonator is the word for him instead of whacker.

That was painful to watch. Any trouble he may be in with the law is probably nothing compared to the trouble he is in with his wife. Interesting that they didn't mention him having a scanner.

He said he wants to be a cop someday; maybe he will get into the TPD academy soon......

NOT. I assume that TPD is like many of the large departments that have a psych board that keeps out the folks who are a little more "obsessed" than "ambitious."

I can't believe that guy. That is the exact reason that laws like that exist. He really has the potential to be dangerous with that kind of equipment and mentality.

Has it occurred to anyone that this guy might be one of us? A participant on this board, I mean. One of the strangest parts of that "interview" was him trying to rationally explain that he felt he had simply waited in traffic long enough and was thus justified in busting out on his own. I guess that's the "dangerous mentality" freqscout is talking about.

And just incase any of you are wondering, I'm not that guy.

That dude was so full of dookie that his eyeballs were brown. I can't believe he got on TV and tried to explain that crap. Hopefully, they'll throw the book at him.

I was sitting there thinking, "Surely, he realizes that there is no rational explanation for his actions." But he really looked like he believed himself. He tried to say that the lights were to get noticed at car shows, but that's just pure bunk!
