OHP South of the Red

Was comming back from OK. on I 44/281 at apx 22:00 when about 5 miles inside of TX when 2 OHP units running "code 2" came flying past me southbound... Up the highawy about two miles seen with them a THP (DPS) on the Northbound Shoulder with what looked like a traffic stop.

If it was mutual aid back up I think that is great ..but it has a lot to say about TX local law enforcment,why was they not able to provide speedy back up (Burkbrnett, Wichita County S.O. or even the Wichita Falls P D)

Or it could be that the Texas unit stopped a car wanted by the OHP for some reason, and the units were heading to "interview" the occupants. Just a thought.

I am willing to bet that OHP had a pursuit that went south of the border and they were going to assist.
