Anyone have any involvement with this? I'm at a one week training course at the WDTB (Warning Decision Training Branch) in Norman for this and so far...it's a really awesome deal. I was just wondering if any of you are involved in this or maybe some of you are spotters for the NWS.

Most of the area EMAs use OKFirst radar during severe weather, it's a top-notch system that has proved itself during the tornado outbreaks of the past 6-7 years. Of course, interperation is a skill, and some are better at it than others. If you hear Lincoln County EM-5 giving radar analysis on the Lincoln County freq. (154.400 mhz), the you will hear a skilled man at work. I'm a spotter/chaser based in Payne County, and Lee's skills have undoubtedly saved lives.

Thats what EARS uses. We have a station setup in the Edmond EOC. Its a really nice system. I've used it here a couple times, however it seems like my computer doesn't like it for some reason. Probably some plugin that i don't have.
