Ok need advice fast

Ok so here is the deal with that damn antenna. Even the weather channel is static untill the car comes to a stop. Im buying a new magnettic mount antenna for my bc355c. Please before i order i need advise. I want it to cover cb so starting at 25mgz-8oomgz or more. Please lead me in the right direction or even email me thanks in advance...

Yeah, with that wide range there is not much of a choice. Austin Spectra is the only one on the market that I know of. You could go for a VHF-hi quarter wave, but will lose performance. I have an Austin Spectra and am happy with it (but it is ugly)... I think I bought mine from Ham Radio Outlet - World's Largest Supplier of Amateur Radio (Ham Radio) Equipment. Did you ever hard wire the scanner power as advised in your other thread about this? The noise dropping off as you slow to an idle should be a red flag on that.
