Those icalls still occur from OCFD dispatching individual stations on the P25 system.
Thanks for the response!

is there a way to program these to scan only these iCalls without using ID scan and addding and locking out all the channels I don’t want to hear?

Next to a scanner...
Anything is possible!! I'd say it depends on what you are listening with. The i-calls themselves are pretty boring...it's just a quick keyup from dispatch on the station radio ID...no audio. I've set an alert to go off when certain ones are called...you could probably do that and then have it go listen to FD Alert right after that, then go back to silent monitor on the i-call. You might even be able to have several station IDs setup like that...it just depends on what you are doing it with.

Your profile image is a G4/G5...you should be able to set that to do it. I've programmed mine that way, but got bored waiting for a call before I knew if it worked! Caution on many receivers that don't handle simulcast well...these icalls are so short that those scanners may miss the call entirely!

I wonder if motos or harris radios can be set to unmute on these IDs. I am only familiar with quick call paging.

If it's like the fire station alerting system here then there is no voice transmission on the icall. That happens on a regular talkgroup.

OKCFD has the paging and voice on the same TG. They use a harris system. idk if that makes a difference. Would be nice to set it to only hear certain stations when friends are working at said stations.

The system here is also a Harris that migrated from EDACS to P25 Phase II.
Watching it on Unitrunker I can tell you that there is probably no way to do that.
You can't do it by only trying to monitor particular talkgroups or radio IDs.
Station alerting uses an emergency data icall and the voice transmission is directed to the dispatch talkgroup, not to a specific radio ID at a fire station.

I wonder if the OK state system, OKWIN which is Moto Phase I with Phase II capable can do icall. We are about to change over to OKWIN and are currently trying to figure out how to do our paging, if we should keep our analog/dmr stuff or what.
