My Vermont friend is at Okemo Mountain Ski Area today, and he relayed to me, they are now owned & operated by Vail Resorts Management Company, so they have a lot of new staff, as well as new management staff too. So starting in November, they got a whole new radio system, all Motorola XPR3500e UHF hand-held portables and they are all DMR digital now with 16 channels of different depts (i.e. talkgroups). The manager believed he was told they are now trunked, as they used to have a mixture of UHF conventional and VHF conventional, and now they are all UHF trunked, no more analog mode. I have not been up in VT since September 2020, so this change was done after I was there, as I heard them on the old radio system in Sept 2020.

I just checked all of their FCC licenses, and WNNE257 expired back on 5/25/15 { 464.525 Rptr & 464.825 Rptr}. Here is what remains licensed as of today:

WQQZ528 (UHF, trunked, analog)
461.7625 Rptr
463.7625 Rptr

WPRM523 (UHF, conventional, analog)
463.9625 Rptr
464.1750 Rptr

WQQX288 (VHF, conventional, analog)

151.6850 S 107.2 VHF Ch 03 Ski Area Ops
151.9250 S 107.2 VHF Ch 04 Ski Area Ops
154.5150 S 107.2 VHF Ch 05 Ski Area Ops

151.7150 S 107.2 VHF Ch 07 Ski School Ops
154.5400 S 107.2 VHF Ch 08 Ski School Ops
151.7450 S 107.2 VHF Ch 09 Ski School Ops
151.8650 S 107.2 VHF Ch 10 Ski School Ops

151.6250 S ?? Itinerant (VT statewide)

He has a scanner, but it does not do DMR digital, otherwise I'd be able to report the details on the new set up/system.
