Okay. So i've actually hooked my radio's back up. I started fresh and decided to reset all my radio's to default. Here is my question. Can someone give me a list of all the current active WORKING amateur radio repeaters in okc area as well as the PL tones? So far i have the following:

147.135 - ears
443.425 - ears
443.150 - n5twc (also known as ears)

KK5FM's uhf seems to be down, but i understand that it can be brought up when someone wants to use it... as well as his vhf repeater. I've also heard that MORI's 925 works but i don't have the PLs. 820 seems to be down as well. But i'm sure i just don't have the PL.

Thanks!~!

Try 107.2 tone on UHF KK5FM (444.775) - it was changed about a month ago. His VHF seemed to die the other night - I haven't heard what the problem was.

146.925 doesn't need a PL.

146.82 just added a pl also - 151.4

Mori's 146.67 is down (the RX works, but it seems the PA on the TX is down).

MORI also has a UHF - 444.100 Pl 146.2

Try looking at the ORSI database - http://skynet.entz.net/webpages/shorty/orsi/

The VHF 145.370, with a 141.3 pl, just has a very tight time-out timer on it, as the radio is not a continuous duty PA. btw, welcome back Matt!

OKC repeaters

Do they have 2 meter in OKC? (grin)

I have been offering a space on a tower south of OKC for
years now, no takers. Is mowing the grass every once and a
while too much to ask?

I do find that 146.52 south of OKC is VERY active - and a great bunch
of folks.

What's the offer - we mow grass, and you provide tower space? How high - what electric power is available? I bet we could find someone interested. Maybe this wouldn't be a full repeater site, but maybe a voter site. I probably know some people that might be interested.

Also, what is the approximate location?

Basically. Someone to keep an eye on the site. The more traffic we have out to
the site, the more secure it becomes. We have had people dumping
on the land, that kind of silly crap. Maybe reset a breaker if we ahve a problem.

Free space, however high (The tower is around 240) and free electricty for a repeater or node, or voter, etc.

And the mowing? Just around the fence and the gate. I don't need all 5 acres mowed, that is why they made brush hogs.

Location? Dibble.
