OKWIN P25 Phase II Control Channel Tulsa Site

I've been listening all weekend and so far all I have heard is TFD-MAIN and I do have to say for digital it sounds pretty good.

That is all I have been hearing lately as well, PD comes and goes for some reason.

APCO25 PHASE 1

I'm not hearing anything on the new Tulsa site with my Pro 197, I do hear what sounds like digital noise with the PRO 106 on the Motorola System II site.

I have monitored some of the APCO25 in the Muskogee area when passing through there in the past.

Anyone have an idea of what I need to do to receive the Tulsa APCO25 site?

I programed it into the radios via the RR database. The control channels from the database are entered as well as the talkgroup ids from this forum.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Not familiar with that model but check your audio settings and see that it is in digital? Also are you getting a strong enough signal to decode correctly?

Thanks for the reply. These radios automatically recognize the mode. I am within the range of the site.

I will be in Tulsa for several hours tomorrow. I will bring the PRO 106 and see if I hear anything.

Hopefully you will not be disappointed but the only traffic I'm hearing now is Tulsa fire and Tulsa Transit.

Now hearing Tulsa EMSA Dispatch Channel A 775 with encryption and Tulsa Transit Dispatch Channel A 2273 in the clear.

Sounds like the Owasso site is next in line for the P25 upgrade. I'm hearing a P25 control channel on 852.8875 and the old analog control channel on 853.8875.

The Tulsa and Owasso sites are coming alive. The talkgroup 699 is encrypted and on the Tulsa site. I can't figure out who it is. If I do the formula 699 X 16 = talkgroup 11184 on the old system which I don't recognize. Anyone have any idea who it might be?

Hearing TFD Channel B 2243 as well as many others. Sounds like the radio techs are stepping it up. I would say if you are in the Tulsa area and want to continue to listen you might want to get a digital scanner real soon. Happy Scanning!

I am hearing reports that the analog side of TFD is no longer being heard. It sounds like TFD is done with the transition.

Tonight I am picking up encryption on ID 1485, or 23760 analog which is Sand Springs PD channel B.
