My question is this... Is Pro96com compatible with the OKWIN system. I tried getting it to work with my RadioShack Pro-197 (rebanded) scanner and I get nothing while monitoring/analyzing the 857.93760 control channel (Site 8) and the data I get in the raw data dump is extremely limited.

Am I missing something? Any help would be much appreciated.

Pro96Com, will only work on the new Project 25 System. This means the data channel must transmit at 9600 baud, before it will decode the stream. If Site-8 is still transmitting a data channel at 3600 baud (Motorola Type-II), then it will not work on that system.

Eventually, the entire state will be upgraded to ASTRO 7.13, and all of the sites will transmit at 9600 baud. This is expected to happen within the next 1-2 years. The new system is currently being tested in the east side of the state.

I believe Pro96Com is for P25 9600 bps systems, try UniTrunker:

Thunderbolt and highpockets have isolated your problem.

OKWIN Site 8 is Motorola Type II 3600 Baud analog with some P25 talkgroups.
