Old 800 state system rebanding

I have noticed new YE licenses for the old 800 system, thus meaning its being rebanded..

I will start posting these on the forum, and pending confirmation will add them to the db...

I know they will maintain this system as an backup until all agencies convert to the LWIN ...
Does anyone have information that they will iether shut this system down once LWIN loading is complete, or convert it over to P-25 later on?

Milf This may help, i have found some old systems are being rebanded and , still in use here in slidell, but looks like the slidell tower is going untouched at the moment

TY that indeed will help. Now if we can get anyone to tear away from monitoring the LWIN every now and then LOL and do some monitoring of the old 800 over the next few months and see whats what, even get some T-88 and UT runs done, we can update accordingly.. Another big project to roll with.. LOL.. this and the eminent reband on the AWIN, and the ever growing MSWIN.. and the growing TVRTRS... We will be some busy beavers lol.

Oh and my pet progect of transferring and updating the Entergy Systems from the CD to the DB and adding any new updates etc.. I love this job.. I wish I had the software and knowledge I have now, and the multiple scanners when I first began with rr.com..

Milf I can nto say for much longer i will be in the good state of LA, As my job has moved me to LR ark.

(yes i used to live there as well)
So Now i have to deal with lr-trs rebanding and going p 25 damn if money was not so tight i would buy a pro 107 or a 396

soooo Little rock is going p-25 finally?

will the system be mixed mode, or all p 25?

I just logged over 24 hours of monitoring of this system on site 006 with NO activity.

luckily i live in lafourche parish and lafourche s.o. still uses the state 800 system...i monitor the gray, larose, and when portable berwick towers...lots of activity...i use a pro-106 and pro-197
