Hello, why are old frequencies still exist in the RR database even though they have been retired and moved to digital systems? Why aren't these stale entries cleaned up? It does cause some confusion? Just wondering.

Have you submitted them as being no longer used?
Because RR doesn't know if they have been repurposed and are still being used unless members are able to verify the frequency is no longer used and submit the information to the database.
When my county switched to a trunked system and away from the old VHF frequencies the old frequencies were repurposed to fire alerts and paging and are still active today.
