I'm riding out with a Skiatook PD officer, it's 2 hours into hoot shift and we've already responded to 4 accidents; 2 of them involving the same group of kids in the same vehicle :roll:. It's deffinantly cold & icy out there!

At least you're allowed to ride with the officers to see what they do out there in the field. <CENSORED> Police Dept. that I worked for wouldn't allow anyone to ride, at all. Hmm... The flip side of that was <CENSORED> Police Dept. that was a much larger department REQUIRED the communications people to do an initial ride along during the academy and then encouraged their people to ride at least once per year and recommended twice per year.
