I have still been messing with the pro-96 and getting the Fort knox stuff to work right. Anyone know what the Base Freq, Offset and step is suppose to be? Also, is it 3600 or 9600. This may be some of my difficulty in getting this work but then again it be a ID10T error...which is more like it.

Thanks in advance.

Side note, I will be hooking it up to an outside antenna on a significantly tall tower Saturday as I am working a 12 hr shift and will be bored to tears.

I had the info, but I just looked and the information is no longer in the scanner or UASD software. But it tracks fine with out it. The control Channels are accurate on RR, start with those, if you can hear them, I would do a search for voice channels. I think the PSR-500 would track ok with just the CC's. I think it was posted in the Knox thread, the offsets. And it is 9600 P25, same as the Metro system.

This is from an earlier post: -Tables
#Format: Table ID,Base Freq,Spacing,Input Offset,Assumed/Confirmed,BandWidth
00,380.00000,0.01250,10.00000,"Confirmed",0.01250

so 380.000 .0125 10.000 for input offset, I think the first two is all you need.

If you are trying to trunk this system, the Pro-96 will not do it. You will have to listen conventionally or use ProComm96 to get the data from it. But it will only do conventional. That's why I suggested a Limit Search between 380 and 400.

System Type: Project 25 Standard

This means 9600 baud, true APCO 25 system. It would say 'smartzone etc.' for a 3600 baud system.

As said above, the Pro 96 can't trunk these internally. The individual channels are P25 digital, and the Pro 96 can decode them (if not encrypted, of course), so you can just program in all the system frequencies and lock out the current controller channel to monitor 'everything' at once.

That's one of the problems, it is three sites, and only one has had ProCom96 ran on it. Myself, I have to watch the display or run a logging program, which is not practical as I need to be mobile to receive the system. What I would do is the old low tech way and do a limit search.

Yes, thats the other problem, P25 is interchangeable in its meaning, I think I'm just going to have to start with 36K or 96K system to show which one I mean.
