I use this software for a number of receivers (AOR8600, Optocom, R8500 etc.). I was very surprised to go to the website and see that Signal Intelligence is still actively updating software for newer receivers/scanners!

The cheapest software from ScanStar are $260. It doesn't mention if it supports pipeline tuning of Opto cards, so that it loads the new frequency in a buffer while checking a channel and then instantly switch in the new frequency during scanning to at least keep the scanners original scan speed and not wait for a new frequency being loaded from serial data slowing down scan.

But they have a 15 days trial mode.

If I don't have it there, and you find it elsewhere? Please send me copies, so I can put them up.

I apologise for the lack of indices or lists, but I'd need to sit down with my own archives (which will sort themselves logically on disk) and list everything, which would take me a couple of hours that would be, honestly, better spent doing other things (like writing novels, or manual, or fixing things, or . . .) It should not take you too long to figure out if I have what you need or not, and let me know if you can't get in (but all three archives should be freely accessible.)

Well, it's always worth a shot. I've got enough up there that I'm honestly not sure what I have - in terms of model or vintage. Including software.

I know of the Opto456 board you're talking about, and will add the software for it if I find it, I just wasn't sure if I had it up already or not yet. Can't hurt to look, amirite?
