So among my collection of 1952 through new SWL receivers, I have one that I'm not sure why I acquired it.

About 6 or 7 years ago, a rental house down the street had an eviction. Out on the road side was someone's "junk" which over a few days they came and took what they wanted but left a lot of stuff behind for the refuse company to haul away. One of those items was a radio! It looked to be a 1950s wood cabinet table top model, reminding me of an old Grundig in appearance.

So, I decided this shouldn't get rained on or taken to the dump and I snagged it off the junk pile.

Turns out it is a Nordmende Rigoletto model, maybe mid 1950s? It lights up but only pulled in one signal on one of the bands and was garbled at best. Never did anything with it and left it on the shelf.

Anyone out there a Nordmende owner? Any thoughts on whether this would be a candidate for a few bucks to have restored?
