Omaha Area Scanner Club

[SCPD]

This is to let everybody know that the quarterly Scanner Club meeting is
scheduled for Monday-- JANUARY 18th (Martin Luther King Jr Day) @ Chalco
Hills Recreation Area (in the Natural Resource Center).

The meeting will start at 6:30PM & end by 9:00PM, and anybody can attend.

Everyone is encouraged to bring along their scanners, lap top computers, &
frequency charts & talk group information. We do have FREE Wi-Fi in the
building for the meetings.

Here are some of the things being considered for this month's meeting

1. Discussion of radio system in Douglas County (REBAND-REBAND- REBAND)
2. Exchange of general ideas and information (talk groups)
3. Programming scanners if anybody needs help doing so --- AND Firmware
Upgrades.
3. Scanner resources available on the internet.
4. Open questions and answers

I wish we had a similar group in Lincoln and Lancaster county. I might have to come up when the weather warms and check out one of your meetings.
