I think this was discussed on here before, but a long time ago.

Did a search came across this frequency. Its P25 NAC 293.
Sounds like security or police. Heard them talking to dispatch about an alarm.
VA hospital or some other type of federal security.

I will plug it in this morning and try to verify as well. It is most likely VA Hosptial. May be Federal Reserve Bank, but most FRB operations have moved out of Omaha, Offutt is full time encryption, (unless Offutt turned off encryption for some reason and has a new frequency) and the TSA at Eppley is P25 and somewhere in the 163-172mhz range.

N9WHM, I could be reasonably sure that is the VA Hospital. Not much traffic, just some calls such as visiting Pathology about a set of missing keys, assist the DAV Van at the entrance, hourly radio checks, and some sort of DTMF that pops up from time to time, perhaps to open doors, lockboxes, etc.

Only P25 system that gives me full bars on the signal meter, but I can see the VA from my patio.

IF you would, Please submit it [as you are from the area] thru to the RR DB

can you confirm that:
a.) Repeater or Simplex
b.) If Repeater the input
c.) Police or Maint
d.) If Police, the Maint are likely also in the UHF 406-420 Band

Many VA's have multiple NET's, depending on the Size of the Facility.
Fire, Police/Security, EMS, Maint and Networking
