Got some folks traveling up and down I-15/I-215 using 167.8900 as their private channel. At least one is hauling a flat bed. It is interesting (nice) to hear a "non-male" trucker, on the road.

No tones (CSQ).
It may not be valid, but it is in use. I find a lot of that, as I search the bands. One of the joys (for me) of searching around. "never know whatcha gonna' find".

Rural parts of NorAZ are using Fed VHF frequencies for personal comms as well.

either another CCR or likely Canadian truckers, hence the non-US channel allocation
