Good conditions this morning. I noticed another case of a site showing a neighbor that is way too far away to make sense. I'm receiving what appears to be Weatherford 215-215. The populated frequencies are the same as the licence and what is in the db. It is showing a neighbor 109-099 939.6625 which the db shows as Groesbeck.

Also the Wichita Falls EDACS site is off the air. I don't know if that means they are working on it or it just broke or something.
That is what the groesbeck site shows as well, one neighbor 215-215. I haven’t heard any EDACS sites on the air since last summer. I am thinking it may be dead by now, but I will start deprecating sites that I can confirm are offline anyhow. If you all can confirm some others around you that aren’t on the air any more, I’ll get those too.

To quote "Monty Python"... "But I'm not dead yet." From my base station in Frisco, I'm still picking up Desert on the EDACS system, and possibly others (I hear what sounds like EDACS on the scanner, but the signal's not enough to decode on the SDR radios)

They must have started in the southeast and working their way northwest. So far verything else around Wichita Falls is still EDACS. There are several sites that are either off the air completely or I just haven't been able to receive them.

Good info fellas! I updated everything that I have personally passed by and verified that a P25 site is on the air and an EDACS is not. At this time, the only EDACS site I have heard east of Bexar County in the last year is AEP Carthage, TX. It's a stalwart for some reason. I sweep the bands with my SDR and mounted antenna everywhere I go when I'm on my long trips back and forth.

Every day between 8 am and 10 am Radio ID 2145116 logs in and joins group 328 on the Tyler site.. No other activity has been logged in Unitrunker.

It's still off the air and today the Windthorst EDACS site is off the air. Still no new P25 sites.
Both the Copperas Cove and Belton EDACS sites were down for weeks before the P25 came alive. Ever since this thread had started I payed a ttention to their frequencies every day to see what activity was showing. I used HDSDR and one of my SDR's to monitor the waterfall for activity. Prior to that Unitrunker would not show any activity on either sites when it was EDACS, just the idoling control channel. I wondered if ONCOR was using cell phones and abandoned their radio system. As of right now Both Copperas Cove and Belton locations are running P25 but are idol.

Wichita Falls P25 site just went on the air.

Site 221-221
NAC 0E7

937.9750 A
938.4000 A
938.4250 A
938.4500 C

It's showing two neighbors that are probably fake.
103-093 938.9875
219-209 935.5000

A few phase II transmissions on TG 404 from RIDs 2140174 and 2140175. Probably radio techs.

They sadly aren’t fake. 103-93 is Gatesville at this time but Gatesville should be 93-93. 103-103 is predicted to be Henrietta since they are using alphabetical order on the sites but they frequently get their RFSS and Site numbers goofed up on several sites. 219-209 will probably be Westover. Take a look back on the last page of this thread to see my alphabetical breakdown. Those are both in close proximity to Wichita Falls and should be online.

Good example for their silliness in programming, Lufkin is still 133-123 but should be 123-123. As a result, Lufkin displays neighbors from Central Texas that mimic those of 133-133 which is Minerva north of Rockdale.

I was in Dallas last week on a trip and monitored TG407 a lot. It sounds like a headquarters security channel. Anyone else catch comms on 407?

First time I have seen a patch on this system.
The Jacksboro site has TGs 243, 244 and 245 patched together (on 65120).
It's not showing up on the other two sites I can receive.
245 is a "new" TGID.

A reminder to people that when talkgroups are patched there will also be an additional temporary random talkgroup in the 65xxx range.

I added Acton and Mineral Wells from my travels back on Wednesday. Today I travelled 287 from Amarillo to Henrietta, then 82 to New Boston. There were no more new sites online across the northern licensed sites nor their western sites, and EDACS is dead statewide. Oncor has quite a bit of work left between activating previous EDACS sites as P25, and fixing their RFSS/Site and bogus neighbors.
