As of one week ago, I travelled through Abilene to Midland and heard nothing west of Site 11-11 Acampo (Albany). It didn't show any new neighbors either. I'll keep checking periodically.

Band opening this evening.
Allen/McKinney site is showing two new neighbors.
45-45 937.400
77-77 937.4375
Those are probably Caddo Mills and Desert.

I was able to decode 077-077 for a few seconds.
I'm not sure if any of this is "fake" and haven't checked to see if any are in the db already.

077-077 NAC 057
Neighbors
045-045 937.400 Caddo Mills?
063-063 938.4625 Commerce?
195-185 938.450 Slocum? (weird neighbor too far away?)
195-195 938.9375 Sulphur Springs?
225-225 935.500 Windom/Honey Grove?

2 other neighbors are Allen and Sherman

They still haven’t made an effort to fix the mismatched RFSS-Site numbers. The neighbors must populate based off of RFSS so if it repeats a number because of a mistake, it will show up. That’s why Lufkin is a neighbor of Rockdale regional sites still.

When Henrietta (103-103) and Westover (219-219) came on line some of their neighbor sites were only showing 103-093 and 219-209. A few months later they added 103-103 and 219-219 but left the bad ones.
I don't know if there is a real reason for that or if it's because of incompetence or not policing their vendors.

Been in the process of moving from Frisco to Van Alstyne, so I haven't been doing much monitoring (my listening station is still to be unpacked, and reception is dodgy at best due to radiant barrier on the roof and an HOA that I'll ultimately have to deal with to put up an outdoor antenna).

I did take the mobile rig out today and got Desert validated (all I had to do was back out of my garage and the site started coming in, although I did drive out that way to confirm via signal strength). I also got an updated list of neighbors from the Allen (McKinney) site. Both updates have been submitted to RRDB.

I'm not sure if this is an image or what, but I'm searching on the TRX-2 for DMR Color codes and getting some odd data unrelated to that search.

SysID: 00A (Oncor)
SiteID: 3F
Freq: 808.460336

and

SysID: 00A
SiteID: AF
Freq: 807.415856

I am in between Windom, Commerce and Paris sites. I have 3 to 5 bars on all 3 sites. What am I decoding?

Thanks.

Definitely images, but many Harris P25 systems use the 00A system ID and differentiate from each other by the WACN. It is probably Oncor sites 175 Rivercrest and 63 Commerce

Thanks for the reply.

It shows

3F 3F 01 14 F0 E4 88 : SysID: 00A RFSSID: 3F SiteID: 3F a Radio ID: 39911424 and then a LONG series of alpha/numeric stuff under the squelch type. I'm not pulling a WACN and these frequencies are not currently in my search list which is why I too was thinking image. I have been searching Oncor for Windom, Commerce, Paris and Sulphur Springs since the P25 migration. Those sites are pretty much quiet, good control channels but very little voice activity. I occasionally hear very brief activity in the mornings on East Doc but that's about it.

Anyways, thanks again.

Apparently, NACs with leading zeroes in the DB are not being properly downloaded to Sentinel resulting in 'NAC Search' for those sites.
I have removed all the leading zeroes on NACs in the DB for this system. It should download properly next Monday.

Just curious, where exactly is the Desert tower? The only tower I've ever been able to find is at 78 North and 160 but that's a Verizon cell tower. There is another NW of 160 & FM-121 but that's actually in Anna, is that what ONCOR is calling Desert? Desert itself is only 12 houses and a road sign.

Location #3. At least that's where they told the FCC it is.

That's the tower I was thinking. At the base it has a BIG box with a V (Verizon's logo) but the top is a 5 point antenna array. Thanks for the info, guess its camouflaged to annoys scanner people looking for it.

Northwest of 121 and 160, off of county road 584. Desert is unincorporated, so it has Anna addresses for the postal service and E911, but is well outside the Anna city limits, but is in the Blue Ridge ISD.

What's this one?
33.382193, -96.420633
I think that's the actual tower being used by Oncor. Built in 2010, it shows it is owned by "Region 10 Education Service Center" in Richardson (which also owns the other tower across the road).

Here's a link to the one you're asking about:

Here's a link to the one across the road (which exists on paper and Oncor's license claims to be on), but I haven't seen it physically - so I suspect the one above replaced this one (which shows built in 1999).

That's probably the real location.
The Oncor license doesn't have an ASR number for the Desert tower and the location shown on the license is this tower
Which doesn't appear to exist in that location
