Sometimes I see patches on this system.
Unitrunker shows the "real" talkgoups patch to a "fake" one in the 65xxx range.

This morning I saw what looked like normal voice traffic activity (Svc column showed "-" or "4") on talkgroup 65535 but it wasn't showing up at a patch.

Some P25 reference materials indicate 65535 is a systemwide all call talkgroup. Maybe this is some type of announcement or ememergency talkgroup.

The RID that made the transmissions was 2149901 which is the highest one I have logged so far.

The Fannin County tower originally licensed to "Windom" is really in "Honey Grove" though the two towns are 5 miles apart. Collinsville is supposed to be in Grayson Co. but often falls under Cooke. Of course Collinsville is 2000 ft. tall so I guess they account for the fall over in the event of a collapse.

I just tried to enter 65535 as a new TGID on the TRX-2 and it kicked back saying I already had a wildcard entered, which I do so this makes sense.

Looks like they flipped the switch on every site from Odessa to Pine Springs. About to add all those sites to the database as I caught Orla coming back from Carlsbad first and was able to get Pine Springs, Cone Hill, Permian Basin (Monahans), Notrees, Barstow, Andrews and Odessa. No Midland, Lamesa, McCamey, etc online yet so there is still a gap between Odessa and Abilene.

129.129 Midland is online as a neighbor of Odessa as of this afternoon. Will get a decode and p25 data file on it soon.

I got it on DSD plus yesterday, but I have not had a single second to sit down and add it to the database. It revealed no more new neighbors that we haven’t heard yet at this time

Well, on my way back into Midland earlier this morning, or night, whatever it is, I got 189.189 St. Lawrence. They must have turned it on sometime after noon on Monday. So it looks like they are rolling it out steadily on a march toward Abilene. Database updated with full data from Midland and St. Lawrence. These sites are very powerful by the way; I was able to decode Odessa, Midland and St. Lawrence with minimal errors on DSD Plus while driving through Big Lake which is 70 plus miles away from Midland/Odessa line of sight. Yes, I know there is not a single tree or hill between the two points, still impressive though because I can't get Midland's 800 MHz system from that far away.

The Midland P25 signal is very much improved. I could hardly receive the EDACS signal on a handheld antenna.

121.121 Lamesa is online on 936.4125 as of noon as a neighbor of Midland, but not Odessa. It’s a little far from my normal travels but I’ll get the data file from it soon.

What are you using to decode the data channel?

RTL SDR full kit from Amazon. I’ve got one pretty much installed in my truck, and another I keep in my backpack.

Copied Lamesa, Big Spring and King Mountain clearly from the east side of Midland. King Mountain easily has a 50 mile radius on a bad day; my 436HP locked on to it as well as the SDR.

It looks like the remaining sites to go live are Gail, Snyder, Sweetwater, Blackwell, Colorado City and Anson, so other than the unconfirmed NETX sites and a few oddballs east of I-35, its almost complete in the database.
