Hi Guys, first of all, I want to say I've been listening to my dads old scanner for years and decided to update. I just bought the Pro 106. I read about this being a beast to program, so I downloaded the trial version of Win500 and bought the cable and a subscription here and am trying to get going. I downloaded all almost everything in oneida county trunked and not. I transferred it to the scanner, and I am picking up several channels. Many of the things, I'm not interested in, like City Cab, and others. I had a hard time finding some of the channels that I was looking for. Like the Oneida Co Sheriff. I know the freqs from my old scanner, but didn't see them in the downloadable portion. They are also listed in the database, so I must be missing them. Is anybody in the area that may have scan list they would be interested in sharing? I'm still plugging away with this, but is a lot more in depth in any of the old button pushing that I have done. I have many more questions about using the software, but I will post that in the software part of the forum. I'd like to know how to do it myself, but if somebody has a list complete, I'd love to test it out.
Thanks

I recommend NF2G's website NF2G.com
To find what you're looking for, on the left under "CURRENT DATA" choose "Frequencies"
Then locate Oneida in the list, a new menu will appear on the left, choose "Public Safety"

That's about as good as you're gonna get since this is my reference to build scan lists with.

Thanks for the link. That is helpful, now I have to figure out how to put those frequencies into Win500 to get them transferred.

Bill,

I am from Utica and I have extensive knowledge about the 911 centers in Oneida County as well as the different radio systems, who dispatches who, etc. If you're looking for additional information, feel free to contact me either through this forum or by e-mail: scanneraddict21@hotmail.com.

NF2G's web site is very accurate for our county.

Chris
