Has anyone had problems receiving the Oneida police using this data, it looks to be relatively recent (11-20-2005)?

854.83750, 855.51250, 855.58750, 855.78750*, 857.83750, 858.81250, 858.83750, 859.78750, 859.86250, 860.78750
DEC HEX Mode Description
16016 3e9 A Dispatch
16304 3fb A Police

I'm using a PRO-97, and Win97 to program the scanner. I get the dispatch ok, but what I get on the police talkgroup sounds like casino business rather than the local police. Is it possible that the police department is using a different (or additional) talkgroup? Or do the Oneida police use another frequency? The only other thing I could find is the public works department.

Thanks!

I just took a look see my self and came up with the same thing as you. I would guess they do use county freq's when they have to, but 155.925 and another unposted 1 or 2 freq's of there choice, could be a fire or local freq.

where are you monitoring from? This is a relatively low powered system and you need to be very close to site to pick it up. I would say a mile would be about the maximum.

They seem to be having issues with the Great New 800 system... try 155.655 and you just might hear Tribal PD using their old freq.
