The Maine sites are part of NetID 149 and already exist in the RRDB under that system.
Thanks

Allegedly Vermont Railway has started using this system for some operations? Can anyone confirm?
Does anyone know if this system is converting to a DMR Tier 3 system? I have heard very strong signals on frequencies that are known to be OneVoice sites:
477.775 Network 13, Site 1.2 - Same strength as Pomona
472.0375 Network 13, Site 1.3
454.20625 Network 13, Site 1.5 - Same strength as Alpine
I just submitted the following for submission to the DB. Thought I'd throw it up here for any discussion while it waits for processing since I'm still new to this type of system. I guess I'm also asking, "am I doing this right?" given that the data I originally pulled from the database was a good start but is drastically different than what I ended up with to get it properly tracking.
"I have been playing with DSD+ and working to sort out the channel numbers for the sites that I can pick up for this system. I believe I have worked out the following sites for now as they appear to be properly tracking both with my DSD+ setup (2 dongles - one to decode and one to tune voice) as well as through scanning them with my BCD996P2 that has the DMR upgrade.
Site 9
Channel (LCN) 1 - 451.9375
Channel (LCN) 2 - 451.9375
Channel (LCN) 3 - 452.3625
Channel (LCN) 4 - 452.3625
Channel (LCN) 5 - 453.0125
Channel (LCN) 6 - 453.0125
ALL THREE Frequencies have acted as a control channel. They appear to switch once each day. I am still working out the color codes but I do think I have a pretty good idea now. I will submit that data after running the scanner a few more days.
Site 27
Channel (LCN) 15 - 454.31875
Channel (LCN) 16 - 454.31875
Channel (LCN) 21 - 454.45
Channel (LCN) 22 - 454.45
Channel (LCN) 27 - 454.575
Channel (LCN) 28 - 454.575

I am still new to understanding DMR and Connect Plus systems but I *think* they are using the two slots as different channels hence the redundancy. I can see (and hear) the system assigning the talkgroup to the channel number and have used DSD+ so confirm the LCN I'm seeing the talkgroup being pointed to does certainly have the voice data for that LCN. Hope this helps! There is about three more sites that I can monitor so I'll start to play with those as well. Thanks!"
I've come across a similar things while monitoring from Connecticut. I'm picking up 454.65625 Network 13, Site 1.6. I haven't crossed referenced the possible site yet but it is also a OneVoice frequency according to the DB.
Not my intent to take the wind from your sail.. But.
What you say you submitted is exactly what the DB currently already reflects. I don't think any of the info you just posted is in disagreement with what is actually posted to the RR DB (Just getting LCN & LSN's confused?)
You aren't taking the wind out of my sails at all. The main reason I posted this is that I was worried that I was missing something since DSD+ is showing "channels" and that doesn't match what I see in the DB. I figured you all would have had these figured out per se and reflected correctly in the DB.
However, if I don't put the frequencies in as I posted them, I'm not getting the audio. For example, DSD+ does not mention anything about 14 or 15 for Site 9. I must be missing something about LSN v. LCN as you suggested. Any additional hints for this newbie (as I admitted from the top), to get me back on path?
Thanks in advance for your time and help!

So the LCN needs to be correct for a scanner to trunk track the CC.
LSN's are used by DSD+.
Clear as mud am I.. But definitely you're on the right track..
Regarding OTA Programming, does that typically come out once per day so that if I left DSD+ running all day there would be a chance I'd get the freq data that way or is the hunting and sleuthing I'm doing to tie in the frequencies (which I obviously didn't need to work so hard on for sites 9 and 27!) the only way to figure it all out?
Thanks again!
