yeah, I'm going to try and program it in tomorrow while i'm at the firehouse,
if it is in low power then I don't know how well i will receive from Carmel

Right now, for the past few days they have been entirely on tower 102 and the power seems to fluctuate. 101 has been down. Most of what they have been doing you won't notice on Unitrunker as they have been registering radios on TG's using PvtData which Unitrunker ignores. Theres been very little voice traffic. All control on 102 has been on 851.8375 during the past few days. It appears ther will be a lot of "PvtData" on the new system from the number of radios being registered.

You may need a outdoor set up to get it real good my 396T gets it so so but i have the 996,s on a diffrent set up to bring it in real good.
With Digital you have a shelf affect that it gets so far then just drops off you either get it or not witch sucks with Analog at least you may be able to pull somthing out in the static.
when thay have it up fully running witch should be real soon you will have no trouble getting it.

For those of you that have the ability to track or id the talkgroups in hex and dec format i have started to submit the talkgroups. These are as they are entered into our radios here at work. Some abbreviations I am not sure on so I have labeled them unknown at this time. So for the fans and listeners of the new system there will be some talkgroup information posted shortly. This is being posted from the template that i have from our xts5000 that was programmed last week. Our digital zones do not work yet but have been programmed into the radios. We are not sure of our cutover date but are told it is soon. I will post more information as I can get it. So happy scanning and identifying the talkgroups as I have the names only at this point in time. Take care all and be safe!

BTW, if you remember I do have my radios on a tower.

I really don’t want to open another can of worms or debate this since the point will be proven by the end of the week but
262-101 is a system and is fully up and running ready for cut over soon this according to MECA/MOTOROLA
262-102 should be up and running fully by end of week and System 2 cut over operations should begin by this up coming weekend this week is the target date but a slow cut over process to see how the system works. So we will wait and see what happens.

Looks like the Talk Group ID’S and labeling will stay the same for the most part for the new system except some small changes here and there mostly IFD for the possible merger of township Fire Depts later in the year.
Radios with the Analog and Digital Talk Groups ID’S in them will have a symbol next to the ID Label to indicate Digital to help the User to know witch system they are on.
Update APCO MECA denied APP so WNNM 854 they will use the rebanded part for the new Systems

Where is the list of new id's/tg's?
As I drove North today, I was searching for the new P25 systems.
Found the first one 0262h-0101 at Exit 95 on I-65 CC 856.5125, this was the stronger of the two. Though both systems very weak on portable scanner with stock rubber duck.
The second system I found at about Exit 99 on I-65 0262h-0102 CC 851.8375
I stopped on Southport Rd and ate lunch. I lost site 102 in the parking lot, site 101 was still tracking. I went inside the restaurant, site 102 would come in and out, site 101 remained about 0-1 bar. MECA analog came in strong whether inside a building or out. If this helps anyone in finding the current transmitter sites. My best guess is site 101 is South and close to I-65, the other is either lower on the same tower or a different tower all together.
Logged the following talkgroups, very little activity while I was listening. All on site 101
