Online Elevation Maps

What are you using to determine elevation of a certain area? Trying to do a little research and would like to check out the elevation of certain spots.

Try Google Earth. The elevation reading pretty much exactly corresponds to my DeLorme Topo USA software.

As cbh said.... google earth is pretty good with topo since you can pan down and get a 3d view of the land. Depending on if this is radio related you may want to look into Radio Mobile. Once you learn to use the program it is a handy little tool.

Thanks for all of the feedback guys. I wasn't sure how accurate Google Earth was. Not that I am looking for precision elevations, but I am sure that will suffice just fine. I do plan on checking out some of the other links you have posted here.

The project does not involve WIFI, sorry poltergeisty...lol although it is an interesting concept.
