Hello,
I signed up once before and at that time there was very limited frequencies for my County of Tillamook, OR and now it is the same only 16 that actually show the frequencies for download? I know there are at least a thousand because I looked at the FCC database option, but i'm very limited. the one's that are not shown I can easily just copy and paste them for free without the tone information though.
Please I think I asked once before when I signed up for an account and ran into the same dilema. I use BCtool to download
Thanks,
Carl

The database is only as good as the information people submit. If that's all there is for your area, that's all that has been submitted by users. We do not enter data straight from the FCC DB without it being verified as in use. Maybe you can scan those "at least a thousand" from the FCC database and then submit the information so it's in the DB :)

Thanks, I am sure others in your area, as well as the site, will appreciate the effort :)

And why do RR's work for them so they can profit from it with no "compensation" from RR???

*sigh*

The database is and always will be free to everyone. Why do RR's "work"? So others can benefit from having the info freely available, just as I am sure you have, which would have never been possible had someone at some point not submitted the info.

I've never understood this line of thinking. RR is a business, so what? All that matters is all the data is free. It's not like RR is charging for access to the data itself, only premium features which, in the very least, take a whole bunch of time and effort to make possible.

This isn't going to turn into a thread about this, and since the OP is happy I am closing this thread.
