only getting dead silence in broward and miami-dade p25

couple of months ago, i bought a xts5000 and had it professionally programmed yet the only thing i get is complete silence on two radios. it's programmed for about a dozen channels and talkgroups.

does anyone have a clue?

Yeah Broward switched to a Phase II TDMA system, and your radio only does FDMA.

oh snap. what radio works for phase II tdma? also miami dade is still on phase I right so i should be picking that up?

I would suggest a Uniden SDS100 scanner with a Remtronix REM-820S antenna for those systems. The SDS100 handheld and SDS200 base/mobile are the only scanners designed to receive simulcast systems.

There are pretty much only 2 BIG systems in Broward County. This one listed below is SIMULCAST and the one Iisted previously is NOT it's 3 separate sites that do NOT share the same frequencies the 3 cities just shared in the cost of the infrastructure.
